The AIC Framework

Interview coaching is more than practicing answers to common questions. Our work is designed to help you understand and communicate two things clearly: the Value you bring to an employer and the Fit between you and the opportunity.

The goal is not to memorize an interview. It is to prepare your messages so you can walk into the conversation knowing what you want the interviewer to understand about you—and what you need to learn about them.

Prepare your messages. Don’t memorize your interview.

    Your Coaching is Personalized

Every coaching engagement begins with you: your experience, your goals, the position you are pursuing, and the areas where you want greater confidence.

We identify what is already working, where you may be getting stuck, and what will make the greatest difference in your interview performance. From there, we build a preparation strategy specifically for you and the opportunities you are pursuing.

    Practice + Feedback

Interview practice gives you the opportunity to hear yourself communicate your messages before the real conversation.

Rather than simply telling you whether an answer is “good” or “bad,” feedback focuses on whether the interviewer can clearly understand your Value, Fit, and Evidence.

We refine answers together so they sound like you — clear and more intentional, but still natural.

You Leave With More Than Answers

The goal of coaching is not to give you a script for one interview. It is to give you a repeatable way to prepare for interviews throughout your career.

Depending on your coaching package, you may leave with:

    • A clear Value Message.

    • Your most important strengths and differentiators.

    • A customized interview story bank.

    • Strategies for difficult or uncomfortable questions.

    • Questions to help you evaluate Fit.

    • A preparation plan for your specific interview.

    • Practice and individualized feedback.

    • A framework you can use to prepare for future interviews.

    The Aligned Interview Approach

    VALUE
Can you do the job? What results will you bring?

    FIT
Why do you want this job, with this team? Will you be a successful and motivated member of the team?

    ALIGNMENT
Can you clearly communicate both—and determine whether this is the right opportunity for you?

A — Articulate Your Value

Know what you bring.

I — Interpret the Opportunity

Understand What they need — and what matters to you.

C — Communicate the Connection

Make your Value and Fit easy to see.

Knowing your value is only useful if you can communicate it clearly.
